No matter what brand Android Smartphone you are using you will come across this error at some point of time, normally you get this error while rooting or flashing. The main reason behind this error is because of the wrong root/firmware file selection.
Steps To Resolve, “Verification Failed, Unable to restart your device. The Integrity verification has failed. You need to reset your device to factory default settings. This will erase all your data.” error on your Android Smartphone.
1. To start with first you need to enter your device into the android recovery mode. For that you need to switch of your Android Smartphone and press “Home”+”Volume Up”+”Power” buttons until you see the model number of your device on the screen, now release the power button while holding the other buttons which will enter you into the recovery mode.
The methods can be slightly different for different brands. So you may cross check the below given dedicated tutorials for popular brands. These are very few examples only please search web for other devices.

So now let us assume that you are in the “recovery mode“, there you will get a similar screen like the one shown in the image below.
Here select “wipe data/factory reset” and execute. Please use the “Vol up” and “Vol down” buttons to toggle through the options in the recovery mode menu and power button to confirm/execute the selection.
Once you perform the factory reset please go back to the recovery mode main menu and select “reboot system now” there. Now while rebooting enter into the recovery mode again using the same procedure. If not possible please switch it off first and enter it into recovery mode again.
2. Now download the following “.zip” file, DM Verify Disabler from this link. Make sure that you download the latest version in the list.
3. After that please copy the downloaded file to your Android Smartphone’s root folder and reboot it into recovery mode again.
4. Once done select the option “install zip from sdcard” in the recovery mode main menu and flash the downloaded file to your phone.
Ya that’s it, the error “Verification Failed, Unable to restart your device. The Integrity verification has failed. You need to reset your device to factory default settings. This will erase all your data” will never be a problem for you again. Make sure you perform “Wipe Dalvik, Cache” after though.
