Steps To Root Or Unroot Your Android Smartphone (HTC, LG, Sony, Huawei, Alcatel, Micromax, Lenova, Acer and ASUS)

1. First things first, make a complete backup of all your phone data including contacts, photos etc. Also enable USB debugging your Android Smartphone.

2. Now download the Kingo Android Rooting software from this link

3. Once the file is downloaded install it on your PC.

4. Now connect your Android Smartphone to your PC using the USB cable and wait for the driver files to be installed.

5. Now open the Kingo App, check the below screenshoot for reference;

6. Once the installation is confirmed, disconnect the USB cable from your Android device. Now close and open the Kingo App and you will see a similar screen like the one shown in the below screen print.

Once the connection is successfully established you will be able to see a similar screen like the one given below.

Now enable USB debugging if not done already.

7. In the next steps select your appropriate android firmware version and click OK. When you see the below screen click OK and click “Grant” on your Android Smartphone.

8. When you click OK the next screen which is given below will appear.

Now click “Root” and you will be guided to the below screen.

Please wait for the rooting procedure to get completed.

If the rooting was successful then you will get a similar screen like the one given above….That’s it guys you have successfully rooted your Android Smartphone.

Now we can begin the unrooting steps for your Android Smartphone.

Steps To Unroot Android Smartphone (HTC, LG, Sony, Huawei, Alcatel, Micromax, Lenova, Acer and ASUS)

This method works only on the Android Smartphones which are rooted by the Kingo App. If your device is rooted using any other method, please don’t try this method as it will not work.

We are assuming that you have already downloaded and installed the Kingo App, if not please download it from the link given in the starting part of this tutorial.

1. First please open the Kingo Android Rooting software on your PC, then connect your Android Smartphone using USB cable with USB Debugging mode enabled.

2. Once you have connected your Android Smartphone successfully with your PC then you will get a similar screen like the one given below;

3. In the next step please click “Remove Root” and you will be guided to the below given screen;

Pleas wait for the procedure to get completed.

If the procedure went successfully then you will get message “Remove ROOT Succeeded” from the Kingo ROOT app.

Enjoy your Android Smartphone is now “Unrooted”.
